Julia Barton started Continuous Wave following a Nieman Fellowship at Harvard University, where she researched the history of radio and broadcasting in the US. Following a career in public radio, Julia became the founding Executive Editor of Pushkin Industries, where she led the editorial vision, production, and developmental engine behind commercially successful narrative podcasts such as Revisionist History, named by Time Magazine as one of the 100 top podcasts of all time. Julia also writes about audio craft and history for industry publications such as Transom and Nieman Storyboard, and has spoken at conferences including Power of Narrative, Podcast Movement, and OnAir Fest.
